Katja Herbers is daughter of violinist Vera Beths and oboist Werner Herbers. When she was a child She was with her mother when she went to America for a tour with the chamber music ensemble L'Archibudelli. Her first encounter with theatre came as her father Leonie Poliak, and the cellist Annerbylsma were married.
