Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African model and actress born on 2 December 1981. Her most notable roles are in television and movies. After beginning her acting career with The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut was with her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared in numerous TV series over the last decade. These include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt played the character of Mazikeen since 2016. The series Lucifer has a lead character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in Cape Town South Africa. After her late teens, she emigrated with her family into Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model after she was featured in commercials on television and magazine advertisements. The rise of her to fame as a supermodel started when she began working in retail and IT recruitment. The role she played was Leilani, a New Zealander in the sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. in 2021, her first major role came as Naevia the slave girl on the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. As well, she has played the character Naevia in the prequel miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred with actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She also was cast to portray an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. On the show she co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
